At our regular site meeting, we were pleased to hear confirmation that the Project is on schedule, and delighted to see the difference our Contractors have made in their first four weeks on site.

Demolition work is complete - those areas at the back of the Halls which were being replaced have now gone, and foundations have already been laid for the new Meeting Room 2, the new toilets and the new main entrance.

The interior is totally stripped out, ready for re-ordering of the rooms - and that includes the floors & ceilings.

In the photographs below we see the foundations for the new parts of the building, the old paintwork on the remaining wall from the downstairs corridor; the kitchen which will become part of the open area near the entrance; and the former store room which will be opened out as a gathering and quiet area - with the Church Office in its old location above.
