Our Contractors moved onto the site on Tuesday, 26th May, as planned - after spending the previous week-end stripping out the Halls.

As Tuesday dawned, torrential rain fell, so the workers retreated indoors to continue the strip-out, and before long the cupboards were removed, the flooring was gone, the kitchen was a shell - in fact, the interior was virtually unrecognisable! Then, under the warm sunshine that baked the latter part of the week, the exterior landscape began to change. A digger moved in; the perimeter fence went up, and the grass was removed from part of the site.

Progress in future weeks may not always be so spectacular, but it will be as productive! We'll bring you reports at least monthly from now on, with photos taken at the time of our regular reviews with the Contractor and Managing Architects.
