After so many years in the Halls, they mean so much to all our User Organisations - but we could really celebrate the closure, because we have seen the plans for the modernisation! We were also celebrating all the hard work which has brought us to this point - money raised, plans agreed, tenders received and (the hardest job!) halls cleared out, ready for the handover to the Contractors. After the fun of the evening came a very emotional moment - as we left, we were asked to stand up from our chairs, pick them up and take them to the skip!
