Here's a schematic map of Myland, showing the major residential areas in relation to the halls.

The Halls are on Mile End Road, next to St. Michael's Church.

If travelling north to Colchester on the A12, leave at the main Colchester exit (junction 27) and follow the signs for the Hospital as far as the North Station roundabout. After passing under the railway bridge turn left, then take the third exit at the roundabout (not into the Station car park; not to the road marked "Bures"). The "Big Yellow Self Storage" will be on your right; go straight up the hill for half a mile, and the Halls will be on your right.

If travelling south on the A12, leave at junction 28, following signs for Colchester. Then turn right at traffic lights into Severalls Lane, then left at the roundabout into Mill Road. At the end of Mill Road (by the Dog & Pheasant pub) turn left, and the Halls are 200 yards down on the left.
