Saturday 1st November 2008
All
the User Organisations had worked hard for many weeks, making and finding
items to sell at the Christmas Fair, and the Halls looked like Santa's
Grotto! On the day, the weather outside was wintry, too - the rain lashed
down throughout the event. However, it didn't dampen our spirits or our
endeavour, nor did it keep the crowds away. A lot of Myland residents
visited the Fair - some attracted by the advertising, and others no doubt
drawn in by the aroma of bacon rolls!
At the end of a busy day,
the stalls looked very depleted, but the Halls were in profit by a
commendable £664. Well done everyone! Here are a just few photos to give
you a flavour of the event - though not of the bacon rolls!
